A TV Show That Is Very Aptly Named -OR- ...and found?
I blame my friend Valerie. I had given up on ever getting bit by the LOST bug, but then she had to and show me "The Constant". (Sigh)
And while I greatly enjoy shouting -er- enthusiastically questioning the morals, skills and writing of this show while I'm watching it, I'm more than a little worried that there are now simply way too many questions to ever be wrapped up in a single season. I've only once followed a story over the years that ended satisfactorily, and that was the brilliant "Babylon 5" (Watch it, love it, repeat). So we'll see.
But all I really want to know is this:
Where does Richard Alpert get his eyeliner? The stuff stays on FOREVER. (Maybe that's the secret to his immortality.)

Happy New Year! -or- A Year in Review
Happy New Year, Dear Readers! I hope your holidays were all that you wanted them to be and that this New Year finds you all well.
2009 was a rather good year, all told, in which I:
Started a blog (namely this one)
Gained a small amount of notoriety due to Tri-Met, Twitter and Google Maps
Somehow managed to place 6th in a dance at the Kelso Highland Festival
Turned 27
Bought many stripy socks
Wrote a 50,059 word novel in 29 days
Got a promotion
Thwarted penguins
And generally brought joy and laughter to the heart of -tens- of people. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.
So here's to 2010. May it bring us all much humour and creative spelling.
All the best,
Meri
P.S. - I don't do January. It's so 2000's.
